He sold live crab & fresh fish on a Medford street corner for three years just a mile from what would become Medford’s best kept secret, The Wharf Fresh Seafood Market & Eatery. After many requests to serve cooked seafood, Brent set out to find a building to make his dream come true. Only weeks after opening, a local food critic raved & put the Wharf on the map & it’s been a smash hit ever since. The Wharf has been a Medford hot-spot & the top pick of peoples choice awards in several publications every year & recognized for excellence. Now with customers from all over the world visiting, the secret is out.

This was our first visit (somehow) but definitely not our last. Food and service were both top notch. The lobster roll was filled to the brim, the oyster po' boy was *chefs kiss* and the angry lobster bites were the perfect amount of spicy with sweet. Will be back many, many, many more times!

Oysters and Chips!?! Where else does one have this among a great list other seafood? And yes it was great. This establishment has everything going for it. Funky atmosphere, service exactly right, and a menu full of seafood for every taste. A new find for me to replace some who have lost their focus. If you're close or even not so close get there.

This place is terrific for seafood. I was skeptical, but after trying out the cod, halibut, and crabcakes, they have pretty good food. They have several different areas for seating. They have a fresh deli type display. You can buy fresh oysters and mussels plus other seafood like snapper cod and rockfish from. Take it home and cook it up just the way you like it. Or sit down and they will do all the cooking. This place is a fun restraint that's ALWAYS busy. That means GOOD FOOD...
